This year, my family is hosting Memory Fest to raise funds for the incredible charity: The Debenham Project. As part of this effort, I’m launching a special, community-focused photography project called Debenham’s Moment In Time.
The idea is simple: I’d love to take a relaxed portrait of you on your home doorstep or shop/business entrance, to create a timeless, authentic snapshot of Debenham life today.
I want to capture the faces, the places, and the stories that define our village right now, creating a valuable piece of local history for future residents to cherish.
This project will hopefully be shared, with your permission of course, in Galleries and photobooks for all generations to enjoy!
Even though we live so close to each other, I think we can all agree that life (and our screens) sometimes get in the way of those real neighbourly connections. So I thought… why not start right where community begins? On our doorsteps.
📷 What will it be like?
It’s completely relaxed! I’ll simply pop over to your doorstep with my camera for just a few minutes.
You can:
- Stand, sit, hold a cuppa, cuddle your dog, it is all about you!
- Bring something meaningful if you want, something that carries a memory or represents your life here.
- Feature a product, a tool of your trade, or just your team’s best smile or simply be yourself with a natural smile (or a silly one!)
- I would love to hear some of your stories too, if you’d like to share them.
Note: There will be a little form for you to fill out just to grant me permission to take and share your wonderful photos!
💛 Supporting The Debenham Project
This project is also a way to show some love to The Debenham Project, who do such important work supporting local people living with dementia and Alzheimer’s, as well as their amazing carers.
A small donation is completely optional, but very appreciated. Any money raised will go straight to The Debenham Project and added to the Memory Fest fundraisers final balance.
